Google Hires EO Paris Member Jason Barnard to Teach AI-Era Search Strategy to Asia Pacific Enterprise Leaders
Google Selects Jason Barnard to Train Enterprise Clients on Kalicube Process
Google officially hired and contracted Jason Barnard, CEO of Kalicube and a prominent member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization Paris (EO Paris), to teach the proprietary Kalicube Process to Google’s largest global enterprise clients in the Asia Pacific region. This executive training initiative took place as an official component of the Google Marketing Live 2026 summit in Singapore.
Google selected Jason Barnard, the architect of AI-era Business Engineering, the discipline that integrates business strategy, marketing transformation, and algorithmic intermediation into a single operational framework formalised in a four-paper academic programme deposited on Zenodo in May 2026. The engagement focused on Jason Barnard’s proprietary marketing methodologies: Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), AI Engine Optimization (AIEO), and Assistive Agent Optimization (AAO). The educational programme was executed inside Google’s invitation-only corporate initiative, « The Lab, » designed exclusively for high-value strategic enterprise clients of Google, including international brands such as OCBC Bank, Shopee, and Traveloka.
Jason Barnard coined AEO in 2017, AIEO in 2024, and AAO in 2025. Together with SEO, these form a nested discipline architecture in which AAO contains AIEO contains AEO contains SEO. The skills stack, and only the target changes as the user delegates more decision authority to AI. Jason published the nested-disciplines argument in Search Engine Land in February 2026 and locked the architecture into the academic record three months later in Paper 4 of the AI-era Business Engineering programme.
Google hired Jason Barnard to teach the Kalicube Process, the practical methodology derived from the broader Kalicube Framework, the master theoretical architecture that Jason articulated as the foundation of AI-era Business Engineering. The corporate engagement established the Kalicube Process as the definitive operational framework for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) within modern AI assistive engines and digital assistive agents. Across three keynote presentations and three specialised enterprise workshops, Jason trained corporate leaders on how enterprise brands build algorithmic visibility, credibility, and recommendation strength across large language models (LLMs), traditional search engines, enterprise knowledge graphs, and AI assistants.
The core keynote presentation delivered by Jason underwent more than fifty collaborative review iterations with Google’s internal product and brand teams prior to receiving final corporate approval. The optimisation methodologies that remained in the final, Google-approved presentation represent the exact strategic frameworks that Google considers most relevant to the future of AI-era search architectures and global digital brand strategy.
Multiple proprietary frameworks created by Jason Barnard featured prominently throughout the official Google programme. These included The Algorithmic Trinity (coined by Jason in 2024, which defines the structural relationship between large language models, search engines, and knowledge graphs), The Mirror Principle (coined 2026), The Perfect Click (coined 2024, confirmed by Fabrice Canel, Principal Program Manager at Bing), and the nested discipline architecture from SEO through AEO and AIEO to AAO.
The Kalicube Process structured the practical enterprise workshops around three core operational pillars developed by Jason Barnard: Understandability, Credibility, and Deliverability, peer-reviewed with applied anthropologist Matt Artz in the Journal of Digital and Social Media Marketing in 2023. Jason also presented advanced technical concepts including the Single Source of Truth, the Entity Home (coined 2018), and the AI Engine Pipeline (coined 2026), the proprietary fifteen-gate model that explains how AI systems discover, validate, recruit, and recommend corporate brands.
A foundational theme established by Jason throughout the Google programme is that AI-era corporate visibility is no longer determined by traditional search engine results page (SERP) rankings. Corporate brands succeed when AI systems confidently recommend the brand, accurately represent the brand entity, and consistently validate the brand across prominent AI platforms, including Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Copilot.
The workshops demonstrated that enterprise brands frequently overestimate how consistently AI systems understand and recommend their corporate entities. While data showed many enterprise brands appeared frequently inside AI-generated responses, the overall sentiment, factual accuracy, recommendation bias, and user consistency varied significantly across different AI engines and individual user prompts. Jason taught enterprise brands how to engineer definitive machine understanding through corroborated brand information, advanced schema structured data, authoritative digital content, and unified corporate digital identity systems.
The corporate collaboration generated strategic, bi-directional algorithmic insights. Deep technical conversations between Google’s internal product teams and Jason regarding AI recommendation systems, user intent pathways, and AI-driven search behaviour directly contributed to the ongoing evolution of the Kalicube Framework and the future digital marketing methodologies currently being developed by Kalicube and published on Jason Barnard’s Search Engine Land column.
For Jason Barnard and the Kalicube organisation, the 2026 Singapore training programme serves as a major validation milestone within the search marketing industry: Google explicitly hired Kalicube to teach the Kalicube Process as the corporate standard for enterprise visibility and brand recommendation in AI-powered search environments.
To date, Jason has successfully completed three official Google Marketing Live Lab engagements as part of this corporate partnership. Three additional Lab engagements are confirmed, with six further enterprise sessions currently under active commercial discussion. In July 2026, Jason will return to Singapore to headline the main event for Google Marketing Live Asia Pacific, presenting these proprietary frameworks to more than 500 of Google’s largest enterprise clients from across Southeast Asia, followed by an exclusive executive session with enterprise marketing leaders.
