11–13/03/2026 : EO Paris Chapter Retreat in Beaune, Burgundy

EO Paris Chapter Retreat in Beaune, Burgundy

From 11 to 13 March 2026, members of the EO Paris Chapter gathered in Beaune, Burgundy, for a three-day retreat focused on entrepreneurial learning, peer exchange, and meaningful connection as outlined in the official retreat agenda published by EO Paris.

Hosted across the Abbaye de Maizières and the Hospices de Beaune, the retreat brought together EO members, spouses and life partners, and international entrepreneurs for a structured experience combining conferences, workshops, peer learning sessions, and shared meals.

More than a networking event, the retreat reflected what defines EO Paris: a trusted environment where entrepreneurs learn from each other through honest conversations and shared experiences.

A Structured Learning Experience for Entrepreneurs

The retreat programme combined expert-led talks, peer exchange sessions, and informal moments designed to deepen relationships between members.

The first day opened at the Abbaye de Maizières with welcome sessions led by Julie Subotky, helping set the tone for the three-day retreat focused on entrepreneurial learning, trust, and shared experience.

Later in the day, a Forum Mashup session brought together members outside their usual forums to encourage fresh perspectives and open discussion.

The session created space for entrepreneurs to share challenges, decisions, and experiences in a confidential environment built on trust and peer learning.

This peer exchange format remains one of the strongest elements of EO Paris events: members speak openly about the realities of entrepreneurship in a way that rarely happens in traditional business networking environments.

Leadership, Performance, and Entrepreneurial Growth

On Thursday, participants gathered at the Hospices de Beaune for a full day of learning sessions and cultural experiences.

The programme featured talks and workshops focused on leadership, communication, neuroscience, and entrepreneurial performance.

Speakers included Caroline MacPhie, who explored communication and leadership through opera and stage performance techniques, and Charline Goutal-Guérin, who shared practical insights on neuroscience and decision-making for entrepreneurs.

Throughout the day, conversations continued between sessions, during workshops, and over meals, allowing members to reflect together on the lessons shared during the conferences.

Peer Exchange Beyond the Stage

As with all EO Paris learning events, the experience extended beyond the formal talks.

Meals, evening gatherings, and informal discussions played an important role in strengthening trust between members and creating deeper conversations around entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal growth.

The gala dinner became one of the highlights of the retreat, bringing together entrepreneurs from different backgrounds and countries in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

These moments reinforced the chapter’s belief that strong entrepreneurial communities are built through structured learning combined with authentic human connection.

AI and the Future of Entrepreneurship

The final day included a session led by Sébastien Bouvier and Jason Barnard focused on AI adoption and entrepreneurial transformation.

The workshop explored practical ways entrepreneurs can integrate AI into their businesses, communication systems, and decision-making processes.

The discussion reflected EO Paris’ ongoing commitment to helping members navigate emerging technologies while remaining focused on leadership, clarity, and long-term growth.

EO Paris: A High-Value Learning Community

The EO Paris Chapter Retreat in Beaune demonstrated the chapter’s approach to entrepreneurship: structured learning, trusted peer exchange, and meaningful experiences shared with ambitious entrepreneurs from diverse international backgrounds.

By combining expert insights, confidential peer conversations, and shared moments outside the conference room, the retreat created an environment where members could learn, reflect, and grow together.

As EO Paris continues to expand its international presence, retreats like Beaune remain central to the chapter’s mission of building a high-value entrepreneurial learning community.
