EO Paris Chapter Board Handover and Leadership Transition
On 24 March 2026, members of the EO Paris Chapter gathered in Paris for the annual board handover meeting between the outgoing 2025–2026 board and the incoming 2026–2027 leadership team. The session focused on leadership transition, chapter continuity, member engagement, and preparations for the upcoming chapter year ahead of the Global Leadership Conference in Dublin in April. More than an administrative meeting, the handover reflected EO Paris’ commitment to structured entrepreneurial learning, trusted peer exchange, and long-term chapter development.
Leadership Discussions and Chapter Planning
The two-hour board session included discussions around role handovers, membership renewals, chapter priorities, and the responsibilities of incoming board members for the 2026–2027 term. The incoming leadership team includes:
- Guillaume Bakouch — President
- Maylis Lavau Malfroy — Chapter Manager
- Hubert Chartin — Accelerator Chair, succeeding Thanh-My DUONG
- Jason Barnard — Communications Chair, succeeding Alejandra Malo
- Aigoul Serikbaeva — Forum Chair
- Thierry Benita — Administration / Finance Chair
Throughout the discussions, board members focused on maintaining EO Paris as a structured, international entrepreneurial learning community built on trust and active member participation.
Peer Exchange at the Core of EO Paris
As with all EO Paris leadership gatherings, the value of the session extended beyond operational planning. Board members openly exchanged perspectives on leadership, Forum participation, member commitment, and long-term chapter growth in a trusted environment designed for honest conversations between entrepreneurs. The discussions reinforced one of EO’s core principles: peer learning is not networking. Within EO, the Forum model remains central to the member experience. Small confidential groups meet monthly to discuss personal, family, and business challenges in an environment built on trust, consistency, and confidentiality. These long-term peer relationships continue to define the EO Paris experience and distinguish the chapter from traditional business networking organisations.
Conversations Beyond the Meeting Room
Following the board session, members continued discussions over dinner, creating space for more informal conversations and relationship building between outgoing and incoming leaders. These moments outside the formal agenda remain an important part of EO Paris events, combining structured discussions with genuine human connection between entrepreneurs from different industries, backgrounds, and experiences.
Preparing for the Next Chapter of EO Paris
The board handover meeting also helped prepare the chapter for a busy international calendar that includes upcoming learning events, long-term planning sessions, strategy summits, and participation in the Global Leadership Conference in Dublin. By combining structured leadership planning, peer exchange, and long-term vision, EO Paris continues to strengthen its position as a learning-focused entrepreneurial community for French entrepreneurs who think globally and global entrepreneurs who embrace Paris.
