Entrepreneurship for Impact

Prioritizing People and Societal Impact

Impact businesses are becoming more popular, yet are often misunderstood; in particular those who focus on societal impact (and not only environmental impact).

EO invites you to share the experience of a committed Entrepreneur, who has chosen to maximize the impact rather than maximizing profits, and to give priority to taking care of people, whether customers (elderly people) or employees (care providers).

This event is an opportunity to explore and understand the following themes:

  1. Mission Driven Enterprise:
How does it work? Commitment, Values, Objectives.
Choice of Investors, Return on Investment.
  2. Managerial Innovation:
“Trust & Track Leadership” instead of “Command & Control”
  3. Caring culture:
Why does that require rethinking everything differently?
Recruit based on values (and identify misalignments).
Train people in “soft skills”: Instigate a Feedback Culture – Continuous evaluation.
Ensure the well-being of employees, so that they take care of that of customers.
