Amay Sheth leads Excellent Facets, the diamond house his family has run for nearly thirty years. Originally a New York business, the company has expanded internationally under his leadership, with new offices in Paris and Geneva and a manufacturing workshop in Jaipur, India. Its stones include the Diavik Foxfire, the largest gem-quality diamond ever mined in North America, once exhibited at the Smithsonian alongside the Hope Diamond.
Before joining the family firm, Amay was an entrepreneur in his own right, co-founding and running a venture-backed technology company. He has brought that builder’s instinct to Excellent Facets, advancing its mine-to-market vision, investing in supply-chain traceability, and making the business carbon neutral.
Amay grew up in Westchester, New York, and is now based in Paris. He joined EO Paris after his cousin, a member of the EO Belgium chapter, described the network as transformative to how she approached entrepreneurship. A lifelong Arsenal supporter, he is rarely seen without his Pomeranian, Oreo.
